Who is Send Some Chicago for?

Anyone who has ever lived, visited, thought about, or has a family member and/or friend in, or literally, any connection to Chicago at some point in their life would make a great person to Send Some Chicago gift box to.

How many items come in a box?

You can select a box of 5, 7, or 10 iconic Chicago items to be mailed. You can also order contact us for Bulk Boxes or Corporate Gifting.

What items can I expect to see in the box?

We aim to offer a good mix of iconic and/or unique Chicago-themed items - whether it be Chicago snacks and local foods, or home goods and accessories. Check out the What’s In the Box page to see a sampling of the items we offer.

Do you do corporate gift boxes? Or boxes for weddings?

Yes! Check out our Bulk Boxes section and fill out the form. We’re happy to discuss your needs and get you a special box for your event.

Can you send me my favorite beer/alcoholic beverage?

Sorry, no. Unfortunately, we cannot ship any alcohol. What we can do however is make merchandise like Koozies, bottle-openers, stickers, and t-shirts from your favorite Chicago breweries (and Old Style of course) available from time to time.

Can I ask for a special request to be put in the box?

Please do! When you place your order and see the form that lets you select the Chicago items you want to add to your box - make a suggestion in the message box below. We can’t guarantee we can get your item but we’ll certainly take it as a suggestion for the future.

How much does it cost? And do I pay extra for shipping?

You pay $49 for a box of 5 items, $59 for a box of 7 items, and $69 for a box of 10 items with a Send Some Chicago box. Premium items cost an additional $10+. Shipping is always FREE within the USA! So order away!

Are there discounts on bulk orders?

Do you sell in retail or have a store for in-person pick-up?

At this time, Send Some Chicago is only available online and for shipping or local delivery.  

Do you offer rush shipping?

Yes, we do! At checkout, you can select overnight shipping for a flat fee of $35. This is only for orders being sent to anywhere in the USA.

Can I schedule a later delivery date for a birthday, anniversary, or holiday?

Yes! When placing your order you will be allowed to select a later delivery date for your box to arrive. We make no guarantees that your box(es) will arrive on that specified date but will do our best to make sure it arrives on or near the date you requested.

Do you ship internationally and is there tracking for these orders?

Yes! There is an additional charge of $20 for international shipping, on top of the price of the box you’ve chosen. We can only provide tracking up until the package leaves the country. All international orders are shipped USPS and you will receive a customs number for tracking.

Upon request, we can provide additional proof of mailing with a copy of the customs receipt generated with the postage label.

Note: We are not responsible for VAT or any taxes/customs fees your package may incur when arriving at its destination.

How long will it take for my box to arrive?

Once we receive your order, it will take between 24-72 business hours to ship. Once the order ships, you will receive a shipping notification email from us with a USPS tracking number. All domestic orders are shipped USPS priority mail with tracking and should take no longer than 2-4 business days to arrive. International orders are shipped via First Class Mail. Arrival for International shipping can take much longer (roughly 2 - 3 weeks) and will only be able to be tracked up until the box leaves the country.
